If you tend to suffer
from constant cracks or breaks in your nails, investing in artificial nail tips
could be an option to try. You can get them whenever you want but should make
sure you take the necessary precautions. First of all, try to have them applied
by trained, experienced and knowledgeable professionals. It can be dangerous to
have these applied by people who don’t know much about the process.
If you do wish to apply
them at home, purchase your products from a large, reputable company. Do your
necessary research in terms of the best products to use and how to apply them.
Check ingredients of the
product to see if you are allergic to any of the chemicals used and be very
careful if you have any kind of nail condition or infection. It is not advised
to use artificial nails in this instance as application can cause further
issues including permanent damage.
If you are using at home,
take extra care. Clean your hands and any tools thoroughly with anti-bacterial products.
Dry your hands completely as trapped water can cause issues. Be gentle when
applying to avoid breaks during application; this is caused by applying too
much pressure. And note the date of application. Artificial nails shouldn’t be
worn for more than 3 months. You should give your nails a chance to rest
between applications of artificial nails. If you wear them for a 3 month
period, a rest of one month is advisable.
Artificial nails look great (even better with our easy nail art nail wraps) and can be a blessing for those who have chipped or split nails. But as always, your health comes first and you should ensure you are using them in the correct way to get the best looking and healthiest effect.
